We provide haul-out, launch and storage facilities for monohull yachts, catamarans and powerboats. Our equipment and hardstand areas are designed to handle a variety of vessel sizes. Please contact us with your vessel’s dimensions if you have specific requirements.
We are located at 7 Seafarer Road, Bayhead, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, within Durban Harbour’s Bayhead precinct along the Silt Channel. This provides convenient harbour access while offering a secure working environment.
Yes. We accommodate visiting vessels and can arrange short-term storage or temporary access. The scrubbing pad is ideal for quick turnaround work (typically 24–48 hours). For longer stays or hardstand storage, please get in touch so we can discuss availability and arrangements.
Our dedicated scrubbing pad is located alongside the jetty and allows members and visitors to bring vessels alongside for essential upkeep such as anti-fouling and minor repairs — without a full haul-out. Yes. On-site boat sheds are available for purchase or rental. They provide convenient, secure storage and are a valuable long-term solution for boat owners. Contact the club for current availability and pricing.
We can arrange assistance for marine work including motor repairs, fibreglass work, plumbing, rigging and electronics. The facilities are well suited to hands-on boat owners and marine contractors needing a practical working environment.
Yes. Our on-site Galley offers freshly prepared meals in a relaxed waterfront setting. A firm favourite is Muriel’s famous calamari and chips, along with classic fish and chips. The Wheel House pub serves ice-cold beers and cold drinks — ideal for relaxing and socialising after a day at the club.
Yes. Convenient on-site laundry facilities are available to help visiting sailors take the hassle out of their stay — clean, easy, and ready when you need them.
Beyond the working yard, members and visitors can enjoy a swimming pool, braai facilities, social gathering areas and the Wheel House pub. The club aims to balance practicality with a welcoming leisure environment for members, families and friends.
